I’m a work-at-home mom of two boys, ages 5 and 2. So let’s just say I get it. Life is so out of control most of the time, and those overflowing desk drawers and cluttered closets are just adding to the chaos. This may sound hard to believe, but when my life feels out of control, I organize something (anything really) and I feel better. I find it soothing, cathartic, even fun. And adding just a little bit of order to my otherwise nutty life gives me a sense of satisfaction that no other activity can. I was talking to a friend recently who said her office had gotten out of control. And I realized that if organizing my own space felt so good, it might feel even better to help someone else do the same.
